Needful Things: The Last Castle Rock Story

see relatedRandom Kitten
So, as I was sitting in my house today, a random kitten snuck in through my open door!
I had been keeping the door open because it was so nice outside today, and if I dont, y OWN cat will cry at the door so she can go in and out in and out in and out all day without me having to tend to her every 5 minutes.
He came in, and ate all MY cats food!
I just got my new camera so I decided to test it out on this little (adorable) intruder while he trotted around my house. I'm a sucker for adorable kittens so I just let it run around till it left of its own accord.
(kinda blurry cuz I had to resize in the text box)
This is the kitten bothering my OWN cat. Poor her, she always gets interrupted.

Saying Hello to my guinea pig Donnatello
How adorable.

Hope for the Hopeless
By Brett Dennen
Make you Go Crazy
see relatedCell

This book is one of the coolest books I've read in a long time. It starts out with a normal guy in Boston, grabbing a quick snack at the closest ice cream truck. But then all hell breaks loose as the two girls in front of him begin to go crazy. "Pixie Light" as he calls her grabs onto the neck of "power suit woman" and begins to bite her, as "Pixie Dark" seems to have lost all memory and recognition of who she was and where she was. The entire city starts going haywire, people killing each other and cars crashing, causing explosions. How did happen and why is it happening to so many people??
The cell phones.
The way King singles out one of the many things people take for granted and turns it into a gripping horror/thriller novel is quite admirable, especially the love/hate controversial, mind boggling conclusion.
I give it..

see relatedAs a child, what was your favorite book? Have you reread that book since your childhood?
I remember my first favorite book very well, all except for the title. I racked my brain until I remembered it anf found it on Amazon
Hating her new home in Arizona, twelve-year-old Callie finds her prospects changing when she glimpses a phantom horse outside her window and is drawn into its quest to be reunited with its ghostly owner.
It was such a good book at that age (and I'd probably still love it if I read it again), I give it...
